We take a taxi to hotel, then briefly walk around. The hotel has a great location, right in the center, just off the "main street" of Barcelona: "Las Ramblas". This is a very wide street, with two lines of trees in the middle, and a large pedestrian walk way right in the center. Two small narrow lanes for cars are at the sides. In the center, there are kiosks, for postcards, newspapers, flowers.
