Conference Inauguration

At the University of Nicosia, the former Intercollege, the conference is opened by the conference chair Prof. Ruediger Kaufmann from U. Nicosia. The Cyprus Finance Minister gives a speech, followed by a very inspiring keynote given by Prof. Leo Paul Dana (New Zealand). The official program concludes with a Cypriot dance group performance. The evening concludes with a wine tasting and a few finger food snack items. Unfortunately there is no Wifi at the conference site, so I can access my email only later in the evening back in the hotel.
